Linn Cohen Cole just posted a very complete and telling article on what is being done to our Small Farmers in the US, entitled, “Farming: Why Obama’s government is George Wallace, Monsanto is the KKK, and we are all black children now“. It draws analogies between the systematic discrimination against Blacks in the US and the current discrimination against Small Farms now. From the appointment of Clarence Thomas, a Monsanto alumni, to the Supreme Court Bench in 1991, to the present Obama administration, with multiple Monsanto shills now holding high appointments, she shows how our government has been co-opted by Monsanto operatives and Food Inc.
The results are many and devastating- deaths of small farmers, bee colony collapse, pollution of our land, water and seas, corruption of our seedstock with GMO, the criminalization of farmers who wish to use their own seed stock, and more.
At least they haven’t yet criminalized organic gardening at home. I’m saving seeds, are you?
