Newsflash! The perpetrators of the infamous Climate-Gate Scam have come forward and confessed that it was all a plot to cause an avalanche of bad press right before the opening of the Copenhagen Climate Talks.
The Scammers were paid millions of dollars and given the deed to their very own Nuclear Power Plant, Vermont Yankee, in exchange for hiring hackers to steal the emails of the climate scientists of the University of East Anglia and release only those bits that would get the Teabaggers, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh and fans frothing at the mouth.
“Dude, we thought it was, like, a wild thing to pull off. And the payoff was AWESOME!” said Dick Justice, the leader of the Climate-Gate Scammers when asked the reason for the hoax. Later, when asked why he’s come forward and confessed, he answered, “Vermont’s closing our Power Plant, man, and they stuck us with the cleanup bill, and somebody else gotta pay. I’m not named Dick Justice for nothin’, man!”
Michael Moore has bought the rights to Justice’s story.
Climate change skeptic Patrick Michaels had this to say, “No comment.”
